Prior to his work with Columbia Gas, McCaul served as the Regional Solar General Manager for NEER (NextEra Energy Resources) with responsibility for more than 3000 megawatts of solar fields and battery storage facilities from Arkansas to Southern Florida. 

McCaul has more than three decades of experience in the energy industry and has held numerous leadership roles at NextEra Energy, Florida Power & Light (FPL), and Constellation Energy. He started his career in the United States Navy as a Reactor Operator on a fast attack submarine. 

McCaul is a native of Pensacola, Florida, and currently resides in Pittsburgh.
